Diarrhea is a common digestive tract problem that can occur for a variety of reasons. It is important to have proper knowledge about diarrhea and possible treatment options. Diarrhea is a disease that occurs due to passing loose stools at least 3-4 times a day.

Symptoms of Diarrhea: A person is assumed to be suffering from diarrhea if the following signs and symptoms are present.  

  • Frequent bowel movements
  • Bloating
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Foul-smelling stools
  • Blood with stool
  • Mucous stools
  • Twisting pain in stomach
  • Fever

Major Causes of Diarrhea:
Diarrhea can be caused by many reasons including-

  • Diarrhea germs enter the body through contaminated (stale, rotten) food
  • Digestive problems
  • Harmful virus infection
  • Drug reactions
  • Sometimes severe tension or anxiety can also cause diarrhea.

Diarrhea causes a lot of water to escape from the body, so in order to maintain the water balance in the body, it is necessary to drink plenty of water, eat saline food frequently, and eat more easily digestible liquid food.
  • If the body becomes dehydrated
  • Severe pain in the abdomen or rectum
  • Passing bloody or black stools
  • Body temperature rises above 102 degrees.
