Chest pain
Chest pain is a feeling of pain or discomfort in the chest. Depending on the intensity, this pain sometimes spreads to the back, neck and jaw.
  • A feeling of pressure in the chest, which may be on one side of the chest or across the chest. This pain can often spread to the left arm, throat, lower jaw and even the right arm
  • Dizziness, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting
  • Chest palpitations or restlessness
  • Sweating, dizziness
  • Usually diabetic and elderly patients may not feel this pain. But when they have a heart attack, they sweat and feel tired.

Causes of chest pain:

  • Heart-related chest pain
  • Gastrointestinal (what we call gastric or digestive tract pain) chest pain
  • Lung-related chest pain
  • Muscle or bone-related chest pain
