What is Chronic Inflammatory Pulmonary Disease/COPD?

COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease -COPD) is a long-term disease caused by inflammation of the lungs. Heart disease, lung cancer and many other diseases increase the risk of this disease. This disease is usually caused by excessive smoking for a long time. It is more common in men, but women are also often affected by this disease.
